These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PrivacyCV website, editor workspace, and related services (the "Service"). By accessing or using PrivacyCV, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

PrivacyCV is a web-based resume creation, formatting, and document optimization platform designed with a privacy-first architecture.

4. User Content Ownership and Responsibility

• You Own Your Content: You retain full copyright and ownership of all resume text, generated cover letters, biographical details, employment history, links, and photos you input or create.
• Limited Permission: You grant PrivacyCV permission to process and render your content solely as necessary to provide and operate the Service.
• Accuracy Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the accuracy, truthfulness, and legality of all information entered into your resumes and cover letters.

5. AI-Generated Suggestions & Drafts

AI suggestions, keyword matching insights, review tips, and tailored cover letters are provided for informational and drafting assistance only. You should independently review, verify, and edit all AI suggestions before using them in job applications.

6. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in links and session tokens, and for any activity that occurs under your account.

7. Paid Features, Credits and Non-Recurring Billing

PrivacyCV offers pay-as-you-go review credits and 30-day Career Passes on a non-recurring, one-time payment basis. There are no automatic renewals or recurring subscription commitments.

Credit Usage: One (1) credit is consumed upon the successful completion of an AI-powered operation (such as an AI Recruiter Review, Role Description Match, or Tailored Cover Letter Generation). If an operation fails due to a verifiable technical error, the reserved credit is automatically restored to your account balance.

8. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting unauthorized access, automated scraping, reverse engineering, bulk abuse, or uploading malicious code or infringing materials.

9. PrivacyCV Intellectual Property

PrivacyCV and its design templates, software code, branding, and user interface are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, decompile, or redistribute the platform or its template code without authorization.
